This poor blog has been so neglected since Cheney arrived. There are so many things to fill the world in on, too. I thought I would swing in & give a little (or big) update.
We have been SO busy. Busy raising small children, yes. But, even busier because we decided to sell our house! This was not a spur of the moment decision or anything, but once we got our agent, things moved pretty quickly. Let me tell you something. Living in a house that must remain "show ready" at all times is SO VERY DIFFICULT with 3 small kids and 3 shedding dogs. It's exhausting. Our house was on the market for 10 days when we accepted an offer & we are hoping to close in late April. We are still dealing with a few hiccups regarding our buyers but I am really praying that everything works out and we won't have to go back on the market.
So what is more fun than selling a house? Looking for a house to buy in a CRAZY market! We don't want to move far. The neighborhood we are hoping for is only about 10 minutes away from where we live now. It just has different schools and really nice, big yards. The problem with where we want to move is that houses tend to sell before they are even on the market. It's a tiny bit (okay....REALLY) stressful. So that has been our life for the last 3 weeks. Learning the crazy game of real estate. We seem to keep taking one step forward & then a few steps back. It's been frustrating & I am just looking forward to the day that this house has officially sold & we are in a new house. Praying that happens soon!
Grayson started spring baseball a couple weeks ago. He has several boys from his last team with him again so he is loving that. Games haven't started so poor Griffin has not had to be tortured with those yet. Haha, those 2 could not be more different!
We also have a baby girl who is dead set on crawling. How is she big enough for that?! She always leans forward now & rocks back and forth. I know she will be on the move soon enough & I am not ready for three mobile kids!
So, that is our life right now. Hopefully next time I blog we won't be homeless!
